Dear Friend of Philadelphia Hope House,

In 2005 I graduated from Eastern University in St. David’s, Pennsylvania, with a degree in Business Management. I was required to write a 125-page thesis that was published in the university library. The title of my thesis was Hope House, and I researched and wrote about abused women and neglected children. I decided to do some related research and contacted similar organizations. In March of 2005 I attended an informational training seminar; after leaving the seminar it was clear this was no coincidence – their programs were similar to the business plan I had already written in my thesis. God used these experiences and research to confirm this vision of reaching teens and families in crisis.

The rise of criminal activity, substance abuse, suicide, self-mutilation, and involvement with pornography has nearly doubled in this generation. Teens often choose these activities because they come from broken homes with no hope. We believe there is hope – hope in Jesus Christ!

In 2007 we received our 501(c)3 charitable not-for-profit status and tax-exempt number. Our mission is to bring healing to teens and families, and build a teen crisis center to serve the Bucks, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties. Teens from age 13 to 17 will receive family counseling, education, life skills training, and parent-teen workshops in a home-style setting that models a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We are looking for dedicated individuals who have a heart for hurting teens who will be a part of our organization. Through this program we can offer the healing love of Jesus Christ to each child and family.

We need your prayers and support to make this vision a reality. Will you take a stand and join me and my team to help teens find hope and healing through a Christ-centered program that works? Please consider supporting Hope House by making a monetary contribution to help teens and their families. We feel a sense of urgency to begin providing healing through the love of Christ, and are continually praying for strong supporters like you.

Thank you for your prayers and support!
